How can we iterate upon, plan, and execute a full-time program teaching the design process through socially-focused projects? How can we spread and scale that program?

My Role: 

Managed the entire program. I was involved in every aspect of Summer Studio, from recruiting students and mentors to scoping projects to coaching teams. I also iterated upon the curriculum. Lastly, I created a guide to support future leads in creating new Summer Studios at schools other than Northwestern.

My Impact in 2 years: 

• 12 applicants to over 50

• twice the professional mentors

• increased the number of projects from three to five

• Summer Studio is open to students nationwide for the first time
